Mid-Con and America Channel Announce Broadcast Agreement
ELMHURST, Ill. - The Mid-Continent Conference and America Channel today announced that they have entered into a comprehensive video sports broadcast and content cooperation agreement. The new partnership includes extensive television coverage of Mid-Con men’s and women’s basketball games.
All Mid-Con member institutions will be represented in America Channel’s broadcasts. The Mid-Con member institutions are: Centenary College, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Indiana University-Purdue University – Fort Wayne, University of Missouri-Kansas City, North Dakota State University, Oakland University, Oral Roberts University, South Dakota State University, Southern Utah University and Western Illinois University. Coverage includes extensive men’s basketball; as well as women’s basketball, the Conference men’s and women’s soccer tournaments, and the Conference volleyball tournament.
“This partnership enhances our NCAA Division I presence primarily in the Midwest's largest urban areas and other important markets -- in Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Utah,” stated Doron Gorshein, CEO of America Channel. “We look forward to delivering exciting Mid-Con basketball and other sports to communities throughout the region.” . . .
