It has been posted over on the Bison board that Eric Konkol, Assistant Men's Basketball Coach is heading back to George Mason after being on the job in Fargo for just a couple of months.

NDSU assistant Eric Konkol resigns after about 2 months

FARGO, N.D. (AP) -- North Dakota State assistant men's basketball coach Eric Konkol has resigned, a little more than two months after joining the staff.

Konkol wants to pursue another job opportunity, first-year NDSU head coach Saul Phillips said. He did not elaborate.

Konkol joined the Bison staff on April 23. He had been an assistant coach the past two seasons at Hopkins High School in Minnesota, after three seasons at George Mason. . . . (read more)
