The Summit League's website has a story "ORU, NDSU, SDSU Garner USTFCCCA Academic All-America Honors" featuring SDSU's NCAA academic honors for SDSU track and field athletes (the SDSU men and women were NCAA Academic All-America teams in track and field and Becka Mansheim received individual recognition). Much of this news has been posted and published (including, e.g. Mansheim's NCAA Post-Graduate scholarship, her 4.0 gpa in nursing etc.) but my point in this post: We weren't officially in the League during the track and field season but I think it's great the Summit League put out the press release about its newest members. We're making our mark early and the future is bright.
