Omaha canceled their last game before Christmas, so the problem must be there. It is interesting that men's and women's programs at the same universities usually both don't have covid issues at the same time. Makes sense since they have been playing different non-conference schedules. I wonder if the men's and women's teams will travel together when doubleheaders start, or if they will travel separately.

Midland gave the yotes about the same game Denver had in Vermillion. Tomorrow is not likely any better. WIU stopped the dream season for the Bison as they handled the win 77-65. Jory will need to rally the troops to get back on track for the conference race. UND was short handed and lost to the Roos. The rematch will not happen tomorrow due to protocol for health reasons. Omaha and ORU did not play this week due to Covid.

Well, the Leathernecks do not look like top half team today as they fall to Roos. They were outrebounded 45-30. They shot 38% to 48%. Tomorrow is a needed win for WIU. Final 78-64
Bison nearly gave away game to the Fighting Hawks late in the game. Bison win 64-60.
ORU is another team sliding out of the top half as Denver wins 89-71 at the Mile High City.

Jackrabbits and Coyotes sweep their opponents this week to remain undefeated in conference. ORU splits with UMKC and NDSU splits with Denver which tallies 2 losses for Golden Eagles and Bison. It is 2 weeks to potential play for first with undefeated teams.

                  SDSU 6-0
                  USD 6-0
                  NDSU 4-2
                  ORU 4-2
                  UMKC 3-4
                  DU 2-4
                  WIU 2-6
                  UNO 0-4

Omaha will need to stay Covid free to get up to a dozen conference games played. February will be important as they will miss the yotes this week. The ORU game still says postponed from week 1.

The UND Fighting Hawks have broken the ice with a home win over the Leathernecks. 79-57 was the final.

UND missed a golden opportunity to upset the Yotes. Missed free throws and no sense of urgency at the end. Down 5 with 45 seconds to go and ran the entire shot clock before getting a shot up.
