USD pretty decent I'd say, that's some pretty good competition and sc usually steam rolls non P-5 schools and a lot of them too. They gave a pretty good account of themselves.

That was the first road win for the Roos.

Are we sure usd isnt going to lose a game in conference? Usd men are no where near past great sdsu or ndsu or oakland teams and they still had a few losses.

There is some angst starting to develop in the dog pound forum concerning the men's team now with back to back losses.

I could never figure out why Donlan was axed at Wright State. Seemed to be a pretty good coach with an acceptable record. UMKC might be stronger than we think next year. The Swinney is definitely a cracker box but the atmosphere isn't that bad although definitely with a D2 feel. Looking forward to having them back next year since they're closer to me than anybody but WIU and not as depressing as the Necks.

I checked the Sagarin ratings and UMKC would be #6 in a 10-team Summit League this year (and ahead of departing Ft. Wayne). They're #3 in the WAC to this point this year. They're looking to Not Be Awful under Donlan.

*oops* that's talking about MBB, by the way.

With Hagedorn coming back to join a senior-heavy roster, I expected more out of USD. If they don't get it done this year, things don't look better in the future.

The yotes are missing Simpson as PG. He has been injured. Peterson and Hagedorn need a steady PG rather than the freshman who seems a ways off from running the group. Kelly seems to fade during the game at times and Umude was dinged in last nights game against the Roos. Johns is just getting back on the floor and he was not ready for the speed of that game.

ORU finishes their OOC at BYU. They keep it close as BYU(11-4) wins(79-73) it at the line 14-20 compared to ORU at 5-7.

WIU leads the yotes late in game. 77-73 with minute and half.
