The games on Friday were a bit of surprise as the Yotes lose at home to So Miss as they shot only 35% from the field and played 7 deep on the roster.

Denver traveled to Gonzaga to be outscored 101-40. Pioneers shot under 25% FG and the Zags turned in 68%,

Mavs play Rice at Houston. They shoot 52% overall scoring 51 in the 2nd half to coast to 83-66 victory.

Well the OOC is now over for the Summit MBB today. It is not a pretty picture. SDSU(10-5) and PFW(8-7) have winning records in the OOC. UND(6-7) almost made it even though they may have played 4 lower division games to reach that point. PFW has 3 wins against lower division teams. The surge of teams in the Summit has subsided this year. Certainly some of these teams will improve during the conference season, but the bar has been set very low up to this point.
