Because of the COVID-19 problem, the NCAA has postponed its discussion about St.Thomas moving up until its June meeting. The discussion previously had been scheduled for late April.

Looks like Augie is getting their hearing this month. I understand St Thomas - great choice. Augie seems like a big mistake.

Augie had their 'virtual tour' by university presidents this past weekend. The decision is expected within several weeks. Commissioner Douple also expects some Summit Schools to drop sports and others to add. What would SDSU drop or add?

I'm not surprised. The list of positives they brought to the Summit was short and the negatives looooooong.

Good news, they would have never even gotten a look if the school wasn't in SF. The league is maxed out on Dakota schools.

Turning down Augie was a good decision by the league presidents. Sioux Falls and South Dakota have enough D-1 schools competing for corporate support and fans in the Summit League. Maybe Augie should try to get into the Big Sky. The St. Thomas invitation to the Summit remains alive, but the school hasn't received a waiver yet from the NCAA.
