I give Sanford credit for showing games with area D-1 teams. The Jacks will draw far more than 467 fans. I'll be among the fans heading to Sioux Falls for basketball after the football game.

Golden Eagles hang around the entire game and force overtime with the Griz. Kampe's team takes control in the extra period and wins 93-86. Owens(ORU big) will be a handful to defend.

The Horizon League is not off to a good start, which makes me happy. Wish we could start a conference challenge with them as well.

I see Milwaukee beat the tar out of Iowa State earlier this year. I think the Summit will still beat out the Horizon in RPI this year as they have some really terrible teams on the bottom end.

Denver beat Wyoming tonight and Omaha beat Drake. ORU lost to Kansas State. Overall a good night for the Summit.

USD goes to Cameron Indoor and does the Summit proud. 96-80 Duke wins, but USD actually outscored the Blue Devils by 10 in the second half. The top of the men's Summit is going to be a lot of fun to watch.
