Busy day for the Summit women.
IUPUI(6-1) throttles Missouri(6-3) in the Jungle.
ORU is giving Oklahoma all it wants They are leading 68-65 with 1:15 to go on a 14-0 run.

ORU goes on 20-2 run in last 6 minutes. The Golden Eagles(4-4) fly over the Sooners 74-67.

Wyoming Cowgirls win in overtime over the Coyotes 69-62.

Kstate beats Omaha 70-57.

Wow, thats a shocker with ORU beat Okie. Iowa beat ORU by 20 earlier in the season. In state rivalry maybe? Anything can happen on any given day

Okla has been trending down,they just lost to Ky also,all be it Ky is a ranked, very good team.This is now two losses in a row for them.Hats off to ORU,great win for the Summit. The League gains respect today. Also,IUPUI,great win for them ,beating Misouri by 28,Misouri receiving votes in both polls.

You have to think this should propel IUPUI into the mid-major too 25. Despite USD losing today that should give the Summit 3 teams in the ranking which looks good for us. The Jags have a game next week against Ihio which could really propel them up the rankings.

As for ORU, they have not been afraid to play P5 schools and it's good to see them finally take one down. They certainly buy into the idea of playing tough competition to get ready for league play. It's too bad that a team down south decided to take a WNIT title and propel it forward to a season where the toughest competition they face is the likes of Wyoming and Illinois....

Not discounting ORU's win ,they played fantastic,but they had the good fortune to not have to face the Sooners starting center,Vionise Pierre-Louise after the first 4 min of the first quarter were gone.Still, the Sooners have a capable back up,McKenna Treece also 6'4" ,and she played well.Summit starting to trend up this OOC season,at least at the top.The Summit has alway's been one of the best 3 pt shooting conferences in the nation,that trend continues.

The Sagarin rankings currently have The Summit League as the 10th best conference in the nation on the Women's side. Three teams in the top 100, three more in the next 50 and only 2 in the 200's and 1 in the 300's.
