    2015-2016 Men's Mid-Major Poll

    SDSU is just outside of the top 25 receiving 101 votes.

    NDSU is receiving 25 votes
    ORU is receiving 15 votes

    Kampe has Oakland on the rise at #14. #15 Illinois St is on our road schedule. It is also interesting to see NJIT has jumped into the rankings. Did NJIT find a conference?

      Atlantic Sun, apparently. They beat then #17 Michigan last year, but I'm sorry, I have a real hard time believing they are a top 25 mid major. Real hard.

        WIU has jumped into #24 this week. SDSU, ORU, NDSU, and IUPUI are getting a few votes. The Jackrabbit foe Illinois St is #18 in the poll.

          I think the WIU ranking is a bit premature. I do give them credit for the win and it's great for the Summit, but I don't see them as a top 25 mid major.

            Agreed. This poll will have a lot more meaning in the next couple of weeks. Going from not receiving any votes to the top 25 in a pretty big jump based off 1 game. WIU vs UIC will tell more about the neck's this season.

                It's still weird to see WIU that high. Their schedule hasn't been the toughest besides the Wisconsin game.

                  SDSU remains at #19 while WIU drops to #18. ORU is receiving 24 votes while NDSU is receiving 5.

                    The head scratcher for me is Oakland sticking at #13 at 3-2. The only "good" win would be over Eastern Michigan(4-2) who has no good wins. Eastern Mich will play at UNO tomorrow for a bit of reference. The Grizz lost to Southern Illinois(6-1) who is tagged at #25. Kampe/Oakland are a representative in the poll from the Horizon with Valpo rated at #5. Oakland does continue to have many good road games which include Michigan St, Washington, and Virginia which brings some funding to the program. I also noticed that UMKC is picking up some votes in the poll.

                      SDSU and WIU still remain at #19 and #18. ORU is receiving 25 votes while NDSU is only receiving 2 votes.

                        The necks have gotten the maximum out of that Wisconsin win. Three of their other wins have came against schools i've never heard of. After tonight they have been blown out twice by at least 30 pts.

                            I could seeing SDSU being in the top 10 if they beat Texas Tech and FGCU on the road this week.

                              SDSU falls to #15 (was 13) after a road loss to a now 8-1 Big 12 team and a road win at FGCU.
                              WIU falls to #22 (was 20) after a really bad loss to Chicago State
                              ORU is receiving 3 votes to round out the Summit teams.
