Also didnt she have to sit out a year to transfer from GB to Western?
No she graduated from WIU. Used the graduate student transfer exemption or whatever it's called.

You are correct but she also started at UW-Green Bay. She redshirted her 1st year at Green Bay as a Freshmen and then transferred to WIU and was allowed to play right away without having to sit out a transfer year.

You're right. I had forgotten that.

Here is the article I was talking about earlier: http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/...jury/75100796/

Not sure how she'd get a medical hardship, but the article refers to the possibility.

unless she was injured her redshirt year at GB like Gabby was.

The Jackrabbits only FALL 2 with the loss to Maryland!!

Also notice that Green Bay lost to Virginia and Rutgers this week and dropped from #2 to #3. The early poll seems to have some type of bias that will take a few weeks for any objectivity to surface.. BTW neither of those teams is ranked very high in a poll.

It appears that the single digit loss to #6 Maryland was more of a killer than the 11 point home loss to #2 Notre Dame...I'll stick with Graham Hays ESPN's Mid-Major Poll where the Jacks are #4.

It's not just the losses to highly ranked teams they don't like, can't be that ,#1 ranked Gonzaga has 4 losses in granted, two more played games.Anybody know what it is they base their ranking on? I haven't figured it out yet.Gonzaga is good, they should have beat Tenn last year in the NCAA,no quarrel with their ranking, just pointing out inconsistencies in their methodology.

Ha.....even their poll is wrong, they have Gonzaga listed as 4-4,their actual record is 4-3,too bad you can't rank them higher with the better record....LOL

                    Re: 2015-2016 Women's Mid-Major Poll

I'm glad this poll is just for fun and has no bearing on real life because it is an absolute joke. It's obvious these voters are really just rolling with their pre season beliefs and making minor adjustments. Without digging too far here are a number of issues:

                    1. Gonzaga loses 3 games to the likes of North Carolina, USC, and Stanford and manages to move UP in the polls. This committee must really feel that West Virginia win was super high quality.
                    2. FGCU has barely moved down with 3 losses, one of which was to a Florida Atlantic team the Coyotes curb stomped. Evidently if you are missing a good player they will treat losses to FAU, Ohio, and Arkansas State the same as ND and Maryland.
                    3. Green Bay loses 1 spot with losses to Virginia and Rutgers, neither of whom is sniffing votes for top 25.

i will certainly be spending less energy monitoring this poll moving forward.

SDSU remains at #13. USD doesn't receive 1 single vote despite beating the now ranked #15 Drake

                      http://www.collegeinsider.com/womens...jor-top-25.php

These polls are seem off this off this year. USD should be #25 imo.

To be fair, the way we played this week we didn't deserve to move up. USD should be at least getting votes, but I don't think any members on this panel look closely enough to see they were without Seekamp and just consider those early losses as bad losses. We certainly have the opportunity to get some wins that will help us move up, but we need to start playing better.

Whether or not we deserve such high praise will be worked out on the court over the next 10 days. Make your damn layups!

Mov'n up in the collegeinsider mid-major poll to #7,but if we lose another game we'll likely drop right back down, which we should,if it's a bad loss.

And a win over an AP/Coaches top 25 should move Jacks up. Especially if win at UWGB and Ball St.

What a great game vs DePaul.
