Watching USD vs Kansas and so far I've noticed that USD is trying a little too hard early,thus missing easy lay ins,etc.As most BCS teams do early, taking good shots and not rushing them ,to gain a lead.When they gain that lead,then they relax and take it to ya.

USD settle down now and tie the game. Kansas is beatable for the Yotes

USD takes lead...but hitting three's....hopefully that continues,because they aren't getting much inside.Kansas getting a lot inside,have to make that more difficult if your USD.

Yotes shooting 24%. 16 offensive boards first half to keep in the game. Jhawk announcers did not think those small gals could play with Kansas. Then they decided the yotes were short but thick. Amy Williams hot a few times with lack of calls for yotes. This game should help the Summit on the strength of schedule.

USD is probably the better three point shooting team in this game, but it does little good when your opponent can offset that advantage by scoring more in the paint. They just wait you out til your shooting cools off. Then they pull away. It's even worse when you aren't hitting three's, but continue to shoot the three, 3-21 is a lot of wasted possessions, you can't overcome that..

There is a place for threes however, timely and by high percentage shooters. Most teams shoot less than about ten a game. That's not enough to win any games obviously,so you have to get the rest some other way.Our 2008-2009 team might have been somewhat of an exception....that team was loaded with shooters,and had good post play too.That team could beat you in many ways,whatever you gave them

Boy height is nice to have....put back and foul for Kansas....That's why most good BCS teams have good height and quickness and athleticism Kansas pulling away, BCS teams alway's push hard after a close half, these coaches have a lot to lose at this level, and my guess is they get pretty vocal when they think you're not playing the way you should in the locker room,plus,they make good adjustments too.Kansas by 7.

Kansas the more consistent team,Summit teams are hot/cold....too long of scoring droughts

I've tuned in as well. It's definitely hard to root for USD, but there's no doubt that this is the kind of game we need more Summit teams to win. Raise that conference RPI.

This games too tight for the Yotes....don't think they'll pull this one out,Kansas has got a lot of youger players, got to get out and lead and put pressure on young players....53-53

Nice to have those go to post players.....only good thing BYU had going for them in our game....and they were coming back on us too
