Will be interesting to see if a player who played 46 total minutes in two seasons with a bad Pac 12 team can contribute in the Summit. You have to wonder if injuries limited his minutes - if you are 6'10" and have a pulse , you would think you would play more than that.

            Re: Summit League Transfers

The pickup of James Hunter for the Yotes won't have the impact like Cody Larson had on this years team. It's a good get for them with Gruis gone but not as near as some may think. I doubt he will make an all-league team or even honorable mention.

UNO finds another transfer. JUCO Reed played for his father last year in St Loius. 6'6" 200# guard.

Larson was a top 100 recruit, ranked 28th at his position, 4 star recruit, and recruited by many power basketball schools. The only reason his didn't succeed or play more at Florida was because of off the court issues. Hunter didn't play at WSU because he couldn't. Look up his bio at WSU and his prep career. Its nothing great. Hunter wont be as good at Gruis. Its still a good replacement for Gruis but i just don't think he will be that productive. That's my opinion. Do you think Hunter will have the impact that Larson had this past season?

I didn't know anything about him. Thanks for sharing why you feel the way you do. As far as Hunter vs. Larson, Larson no doubt had a great year and still has a lot of places he can improve (lots of dropped passes down low, occasionally a bit of showboating, etc). I think he will truly breakout next season and we will see why everybody and their dog pursued him out of high school. To expect Hunter to replicate that is a tall order. I hope the order is too tall and pups fail again. Go Jacks!

                          Re: Summit League Transfers

                          Incoming
                          ORU:
Aaron Young (5-10 sophomore) - Eastern Oklahoma State CC
Darian Harris (6-6 freshman; not eligible this season) - Creighton
Aaron Anderson (6-3 sophomore; not eligible this season) - Fresno State

Darian Harris has received a waiver from the NCAA and is eligible to play this season. Since he red-shirted at Creighton last year, he has four years of eligibility remaining. He will be a contributor off the bench as a shooting guard.

Aaron Anderson played for D-II Central Oklahoma last year as a sophomore. He was a part-time starter his freshman year at Fresno State. He will have to sit out this season and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Juco transfer Aaron Young is immediately eligible and has three years of eligibility remaining.

Thanks for the update, Old Titan.

I am interested to see what ORU will look like on the court after not seeing them for a couple years.

Has anyone heard anything on Matt Donlan's whereabouts? He posted something on twitter about "off to Omaha to start a new chapter". I'm too lazy to post the link, but just wondering.
