      MBB: USD 87, Omaha 86. Final. USD did their best to give it away once again, but hold on. Omaha seemed to have peaked in Nov/Dec, IMO.

          USD men wrap up a last-second win in front of virtually no one at the dome. From the looks of it, you could walk up and buy mid-court seats in any row of the bleachers you want.

          The yotes shot 25-72. Their big 3 shot 11-40(Hemiller, Contreas, & Seekamp) Omaha shot 51%. Outside of poor shooting and 20 offensive rebounds for yotes, it was close on the stats. The teams combined for only 21 free throws. USD and Ft Wayne tied for 4 & 5 seeds at 5-6 with 3 to play.

            According to the box score there was a little over 1300. The uno/usd womens game had 207.

              Surely you jest. To quote the Chemistry Teacher Guy O, Karnes, many moons ago, NDSU does not stand a Chinaman's chance of winning the SL and dancing. It only happens in the Cinderella tale. Maybe that why that term is often used to describe a team that has few chances of advancing.

                    MBB Saturday, Feb. 22
                    * Fort Wayne at IUPUI 2 p.m. (ESPN3)
                    * South Dakota St. at North Dakota St. 3 p.m. (MeTV Fargo)
                    * Western Illinois at South Dakota 5 p.m. (Midco Sports Net/Fox College Sports (Central))
                    * Omaha at Denver 8 p.m. (ROOT Sports Rocky Mountain)
                    This is a big week for Jackrabbits to have win. Fort Wayne and Denver should have wins today and post 8-4 marks. Western at Vermillion will not have any influence on the seed order.

                      I hope Omaha can pull off the upset at Denver. Things will suddenly get REALLY tight if SDSU loses today and Denver/FW win. We would lose tiebreakers to both those teams with a loss at NDSU.

                          If you want to watch a game for an hour before the Jackrabbits, this is a free connect to IPFW @ IUPUI. Maybe the Jags can win the last game at the Jungle.

                            Not getting any help from the Jags. IPFW up 41-29 early in second half.
