Many seem to think that at least this means Oakland is probably gone. Outside of that it is hard to say.

umm...Butler is no longer in Horizon, they are in the A-10.

Correct. The catholic 7 seems intent on raiding the A-10. The repercussions could include Oakland having an opportunity to join the Horizon and I think they would love to do that.

Oakland would do it in a heartbeat, biggest hurdle is Detroit not wanting them in the Horizon.

Omaha World Herald announced this afternoon that Creighton will be leaving the MVC to go to the "new" Big East, for the 2013-14 season, although school officials did not confirm that. It definitely appears to be a done deal.
