Bringing the kids this year so the Jackrabbit section will suit us better. If it was just adults I'd get the best seats possible.
I ordered early and am in section M, which is behind the SDSU bench. The fact that there's none left in that section shows a probably good turnout for Jacks fans. Section C is the overflow section for Jacks fans. Views from C aren't very good but the Dakota Dome is ... What it is.

M may very well have some tickets left. I requested them in C, perhaps I should have been more patient and asked about section M. We will be in the nosebleeds.

Jackrabbits need to win at home against 2 good teams this week. Oakland Thursday and IPFW Saturday. Jacks lose 1 or both and a seed becomes unlikely. That means a Sunday night game against a scrappy Summit league team (USD?) and not day of rest before the semis. This is a huge week!! Get your butt to Frost Thursday and Saturday.

A lot of season is left but early indications are that NDSU and WIU are both good enough defensively to keep winning. Jacks are already 2 back in the loss column to both. Unlikely that SDSU will win at WIU, Oakland and IPFW, in fact it will be tough to get 1 of those 3. That's 4 losses in conference if SDSU defends Frost, which I think they will. Really a bad loss Saturday, horrible.

Agreed. I think a best-case for this team is four conference losses and I would not be surprised if we ended up with six. Please go out and prove me wrong Jacks!

Re: Summit League Regular Season Conference

It's almost time for another round of Summit basketball. Thursday is a relatively quiet night, but there are some important games.

Only three other Summit womens' teams have a winning (overall) record (UNO, IUPUI, and WIU). UNO goes on the road to both IUPUI and WIU this week. We should have a better feel for which of those teams are a potential contender by Sunday.

The NDSU/IPFW men's game appears to be on Midco. Having that on the TV and the Jacks on the computer will make for a nice night. If IPFW or Oakland get a win at SDSU/NDSU they definitely have to be considered as a solid contender.

The SDSU women could be nearly finished before the men's game with Oakland begins. They have a 5:30 tip time at Rochester, Mi. This could be the beginning of a long finish to the season for the bison women with the losses to their roster. If the Omaha women are for real and they handle IUPUI, that will definitely put a spark in their season after reading the article linked to ESPN earlier. This would be a good week to see SDSU women extend conference lead.

I look for the Jackrabbit men and bison men to go 2-0 at home. The Dakota tour is not something the other Summit teams are looking to enjoy. Western men only 1 game at Omaha. The Jacks need to turn the corner this week and get the game together every time.
