The yote women beat IUPUI at their place today for 2nd place in front of 355 fans. Omaha and Ft Wayne draw less than 500 on Sat afternoon. Jackrabbit women earn a good win.

He's puffing his player. Bader may score points but he will never have the stat line Nate Wolters puts up game after game. Bader 26pts 4 rebounds 2 assists, Nate 26pts 7 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals

For those who may not have noticed late men's scores Ft Wayne beats IUPUI in OT 80-79. Omaha wins at KC.

The women finish with Ft Wayne 57-55 over Oakland and KC over WIU 51-50.

              Jakcs win & Jacks win!!

For those attending the NDSU V SDSU gaem, there were more in the building than the other 3 men's games today Oakland had 3300+ for second largest attendace on homecoming. It may not be billed as a rivalry, but there was as much interest today as any other game in the Summit this year. We hope to see an equal turnout for the yotes on Thursday! Go Jacks!

Not questioning the number, but watching the OU vs WIU game on Front Row, it looked like they had a near capacity crowd. I dont know what capacity is at Orena but you would think more than 3300. At any rate winning at Orena is going to be a tall order for SDSU. The home crowd acts like a home crowd should act. The "chucker" Bader had a field day. If you dont know what I mean by chucker, look at the Seinfeld clip and then you will get the picture. In that clip George was the chucker.

Orena had its largest crowd when it opened at 4055. The pic has it set up as a nicely shaped bowl with seating set up for good vision. Considering that 3800+ watched them at Frost, they will have to do a good job of recruiting students to top that number. 3300+ for homecoming is 80% capacity. Maybe the win over WIU will bring the interest up for the Dakotas.

since joining the Summit the Jacks have never won in the O'rena. let's end that next month. there are no bad seats in that place unless your next to the band and it is a commuter campus pretty much so to get the students, alumni, and interested parties to the game there needs to be a good reason like if it was Oakland and the Jacks tied for first.

Yes, the men's game at OU will be a big challenge and a big opportunity to gain ground on the other teams in the top-4.

WIU has already lost there and it is pretty likely that either NDSU or SDSU will as well. I think there is a good chance that at least two teams will end up tied at the top of the conference with three losses. WIU has the Dakotas trip and the XDSU's have Oakland on the road and WIU at home. If a team survives this last stretch and finishes with only two losses they certainly are a very worthy champion.

The WIU game on Saturday Feb 16 will be a big one. Maybe we can get another crowd approaching 5,000. I plan to be there.

I would think we would get at least that. I suppose depending on where we are in the standings but its also the last home game of the year.

If a team takes 3o three point shots, they've got to make more than 20%.Take away their 30 three point attempts, they were 16-32 on two pointers,50% .They only lost by two points,so, did they really need to take so many three pointers when it was obvious they weren't connecting on enough?Maybe thats the way they're supposed to play and I'm reading too much into it.Anyway, bad loss for the Leathernecks, unless Chicago St. is far better this year compared to the last few years.

Did anyone watch the western ill clip on espn. The mascot walking into the cheerleader doing flips and both got knocked down pretty good. Dan lebatard was making fun of it like it was pre game practice but it was during a hame with like 12 people in the stands. It was a womens game. Not sure who they were playing just watched it on my phone.
