According to Mick Garry and the Argus Leader, USD has added two recruits for their mens basketball team. Coach Boots believes one of them will become one of the best guards in the Summit League in two years.
Adam Thoseby, a 6'4" transfer from Utah State will have to sit out next year, but will have three years of eligibility. He is a native of Australia, but played high school ball in England and Maine. He was on Great Britain's U-20 team that competed in the European Championships last year. According to Boots, “He’s going to be one of the top guards in the Summit League in two years.”
Their other recruit is a 6'8" forward from Denver. Austin Sparks, will play at Fairview High in Boulder for his senior season.
Good luck to Boots and his new Yotes. It is healthy to have some competition from USD.
