    UNO basketball get first D-1 win.

    Any win is a good win, particularly a win on the road. The Mavs are now 3-5 for the season.

    I see Northern Illinois is struggling. The loss to the Mavs puts their season record at 0-7. Their coach is in his first year...was an assistant at Michigan State for the past several years and played at Michigan State. They have nine new faces on the roster.

      Better than the NDSU game I guess. I thought UNO was strictly a hockey school now.

        Good for UNO...as long as the Mavbots don't make an appearance again.
        One hand points to campus...the other to the liquor store.

          When UNO played USD the game was on TV and I watched almost all of it. They lost by I think 2 or 3 points. But probably should have won the game, USD hit some shots late and UNO kinda folded.

            I think UNO will be an excellent addition to the league. With all their energy focused on basketball, they should quickly become a top-half program.
