UMKC radio guy Stephen Davis is the son of Bob Davis, voice of the Kansas Jayhawks who also does KC Royals radio as well.

Earlier this year, UMKC played at KU, and Stephen stopped by to be briefly interviewed by Bob on the Jayhawk radio broadcast.

UMKC playing Oakland tough, despite having only seven active players -- up 20-19 with 14:13 to go first half. Roos are raining in 3's.

It's looking a bit like we may have to meet UMKC in the 4/5 matchup in Sioux Falls! Not sure I prefer that!

UMKC played really, really well with only seven active players against Oakland tonight.

If they put it together they can be a scary team.

If we beat NDSU, then we have the 4th seed and IPFW will have the 5th because they beat Oral Roberts. If we lose to NDSU and IPFW loses to UMKC then its a 3 way tie and we have the 4th seed and UMKC would have the 5th seed because we would be 3-1 against the other two, UMKC 2-2 and IPFW would be 1-3. Im hoping i have it right.
