With really good luck, we'll get a good juco power forward/center type to take some of the load, too.

What I want for Christmas is some good ol' farm boy 6'8-6'11" beast of a high school player who's completely under the radar come from nowhere into the yellow and blue and turn the Summit League on it's ear . . . I mean another one besides Dykstra and Heemstra . . . I'm talking an Incredible Hulk kind of guy . . .
And I want a super athletic swing man that can jump out of the gym and shoot. Think of a Dale-Sarge Hybrid

A reinvented Matt Jones would be nice. A little bigger, a little taller, a little stronger, a little faster, but has the moxie and the skills that it takes at this level.

....and Tennessee loses to Charlotte its next game.

I'm not sure if this makes Oaklands win look not quite so impressive.

Well an upset loss can make the loser of the game flat at the next game. This is probably a little hangover from the Oakland game. I don't think it diminishes the Oakland win at all.

Now if it was the first game of the year and we really don't know how good Tennessee is, then fine it may not be a big win. This will still help Oakland's RPI and therefore will help the conference RPI. It is good for recruiting and so on.

Tennessee has now lost to Oakland, Charlotte, and today Charleston. And had close wins against Belmont and Tenn-Martin. Do i hear OVERRATED? However they did beat Villanova and Pitt. Go figure.

This isn't meant as disrespect to Oakland because I'm happy they beat a ranked team, but Tennessee is a team that always pisses me off come tourney time. You see their record and their ranking so you pick them to win. You watch them play and you wonder what the hell were you thinking. To me, their style of play just looks disorganized. They are usually long and athletic, but they throw up 3's left and right and the players look so odd when they shoot, I wonder how they ever won a game. Maybe I need to watch them play more, but I can't force myself to anytime they are on TV.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--
