Bison fans have to be very disappointed in this effort. We're talking about a team that SDSU's #1 defense didn't allow to score a TD last week. The Redbirds will probably finish second or third from the bottom in the MVFC. NDSU's porous defense is making ISU look like UNI.

Mertens just did a naked boot and tossed a pass to a player who was about to get leveled. He'd have been better off running it. The guy makes some pretty dumb decisions.

Yeah, but Paschal looks like a potential fumbler to me. He runs straight up, and while he's shifty, he takes some pretty good licks.

Illinois State has guys running open on every play. The question is whether their QB can get it to them. He's made some bad long throws.

This is the first time I've watched NDSU this year. They are a really bad team. I suppose there are lots of talented players there. But they cannot get it done. We'll see if they can somehow drive down for a FG.
