Sounds like UNI's quarterback looked real good as did his receivers. At times they were able to pick apart Iowa's D-backs who were supposed to be pretty good. Early in the game, one UNI drive consumed 9 minutes. Wow.

Iowa plays at Iowa State next Saturday.

Yup. My mistake. I was thinking about conference play. Iowa is at Penn State in 9/26. And it's looking like it'll be ugly.

UNI looked really good today. And Iowa looked really bad.

After TWO last sec FG attempts blocked by Iowa, Cats fall by 1, 17-16, to the #22 FBS team. If this had been a win, many would have possibly bumped UNI up to #1 in FCS.

As it is they are going to be TOUGH to dethrone as MVFC champs. SDSU and NDSU have the best chance as UNI comes to play in Brookings and Fargo. IIRC, in Oct, UNI plays SIU, NDSU and SDSU on three straight weekends.

Yeah, UNI looked tough today. The RB (#1 their backup) looked like he was the fastest guy on the field at times.

Penn State has had Sept. 26 circled for 11 months.
