Vote on FargoDome renovation fails

The citizens of Fargo voted on a proposal to rennovate and expand the FargoDome on Tuesday... turnout was light...vote required 60% approval fell short. Link to Fargo Forum story:

Fargodome Authority Board member David Suppes said work still needs to be done at the Fargodome to keep it competitive.

“We do have limited resources,” Suppes told The Forum, so they won’t be able to do every improvement in the initial proposal.

Reports are that the choice to pair the dome renovation and convention center made it a stumbling block. I expect they'll have another/other vote(s) in a couple years with the two proposals separated.
