  • In Minneapolis: NDSU 35, Eastern Washington 10

First collegiate football game in US Bank Stadium, NDSU 35, Eastern Washington 10.

    Attendance reported: 22,546.

Link to post-game story in the Star-Tribune: https://www.startribune.com/miller-p...ton/600301706/

Anyone know whether NDSU made any money on the game? Poor attendance by NDSU. They have a considerable alumni base in the Twin Cities and Minnesota generally. The article states the NDSU roster includes 38 Minnesotans.

Reportedly a minimum of $350k for 15k tickets sold, with tiered increases from that point, so they'll likely get around $375k.

McFeely's predicting Jacks will sell approximately 20k for Target Field game. Hopefully Jacks fans prove him wrong and buy at least 30k.

For reference NDSU had 34k at Target Field in 2019 against Butler. Pretty sure that was Labor Day week as well. Bison fans don't seem as interested in the program anymore.

You're correct. They played Sat. preceding Labor Day in 2019.

Several factors could be impacting attendance, with fees reportedly nearing 50 percent of the base ticket price and "safety" in Minneapolis, mentioned as a couple.

Regardless, I'm hoping the Jacks have 35k on 9/16.
