They Valley opened the season last night going 2-1, with the Jacks rolling Duquesne and WIU stomping Tennessee Tech 41-14. Indiana State fell to Eastern Illinois 22-20 in a last second heart breaker.

In OT Pitt scores and makes extra point. YSU stalls and throws an interception to end the game 28-21 Pitt. Meanwhile in Fargo NDSU leads Mississippi Valley State 30-0 after one quarter.
Pitt offensive line was out lunch for most of the game, YSU was in the backfield all afternoon. Could YSU have that good of a defensive unit?

The Fighting Pelini's lost a heart breaker to Pitt 28-21 in OT

The Yotes and Bison bullied Drake and Mississippi Valley State by scores of 77-7 and 72-7

After a slowish start, Illinois State shutout Butler 45-0

Northern Iowa fell to Iowa State 42-24 in the nightcap
