IMO I still can't believe they beat ISUr on the road last week! Major failure by the Red Birds! They let the MVC down, big time!

I heard someone from KFGO state that they had listened to the 2nd half of the Spiders/Redbirds game. In the postgame, the Redbirds play-by-play guys (both) thought that the Birds were looking ahead to the winner of the UNI/NDSU game. The coaching staff, no....but players yes.

I can't believe the line for this game stayed at -3 after it was announced that Wentz would play. I'm glad I get to see this kid play one more college game. He is amazing. I think NDSU slows the game down like they have so far and walks to an easy win.

17-0. Shows again what a joke the FCS playoffs are. JSU looks like they might be able to finish in the middle of the MVFC. But in the mighty OVC and on the weak side of the bracket (no MVFC teams) they're the kings. Ridiculous. If schools are going to invest in the future of this division of football as SDSU has, the playoffs need to be fixed.

Announcer says he's shocked by how this has played out.... because they know nothing about FCS conferences. OVC = weak. MVFC = strong. How hard is that to figure out?

The bottom half of the playoff bracket was a complete joke. The Selection Committee (and the NCAA) should be ashamed of their work.

JSU scores 10 in 3rd quarter. 18:41 left in game Bison lead 24-10. I would expect Wentz to come back strong.

Five straight. I said it during the home game vs. them. With Wentz, there was no doubt they'd win another title.

That's a fine football team. They were allowed to play their game -- Jacksonville couldn't do much. As others have said, the playoff bracket Jacksonville emerged from was clearly inferior to the one NDSU won. The Bison earned and deserved trophy #5.
