I don't know how many of you are familiar with Miracle Treat Day... it's the annual fundraiser that Dairy Queens across the US do for the Children's Miracle Network.
On Miracle Treat Day, the DQs take their sales from Blizzards and donate it towards CMN. The DQ in Madison has had the most sales of any store in North America, selling 3800 Blizzards two years ago and 7011 last year on MTD.
This year, the Madison DQ had a goal to sell 8000 Blizzards. I had the owner on my radio show the day before Miracle Treat Day. I said if they sold at least 10,000 blizzards that day, I'd shave my head... on-air!
The final total in Madison....
12,347 Blizzards!!!
I'm a big believer in CMN and what they do for patients and families. And since I'm on my diet and really can't have a blizzard, I figured this would be the best way to make a contribution.
So here's some pics of me getting my head shaved... enjoy!
