If you hadn't, I would have wondered about you!! Rick Riley is an incredible writer and I miss his column in Sports Illustrated...this one was written for Father's Day a couple of years ago, and I've told a hundred or more people about the storyline...an amazing father...makes me feel a little inadequacy about my own fatherhood. I had not seen the video and am thankful it got posted. Thanks Bits!

Thank you for your comment. I thought maybe I was the only one who showed my feelings reading/watching this story...

Dick Hoyt spoke at the SD Achieve fund raiser last fall here in Sioux Falls, and he tells an amazing story. If you ever get a chance to hear him speak, its worth every penny.

That was well worth the three minutes or so!

                    Re: Favorite YouTube videos.

I threw an updated youtube up for those interested parties. I'll tell you I've never seen such a clamoring for something in my life. I received literally hundreds of requests for a new video posting. Alright, I'm really just bored on a Friday and am shamelessly plugging a video of my girls, but take a gander if you're in the mood to kill 5 mins.

                          Re: Favorite YouTube videos.

This video has nothing to do with football but is absolutely hilarious (if you ask me).

This is a video from the HUD (Heads Up Display) of a student flying defensive basic fighter maneuvers (BFM) in the Intro to Fighter Fundamentals (IFF) course. IFF is a course which young fighter pilots attend after they graduate pilot training prior to going on to fly their fighter.

If you have questions about specifics of what is going on, feel free to ask. Otherwise, just laugh at the difference of instruction as a fighter pilot vs basket weaving 101.
