    I see in the paper today that both Phyllis Diller and William Windom have passed on. William Windom appeared in Doner Auditorium when I was in school. He starred in the late 60's in a sitcom called "My World and Welcome To It" which was based on the writings of James Thurber. Later, he turned that into a one-man travelling show which featured Thurber's writings. It was that one-man show that came to SDSU. I consider myself very fortunate to have attended.

    PLUS, he was Commodore Decker in an episode of "Star Trek"
