  • NCAA Questions

okay. Been a while. Do the Jacks have seperate cheerleading, dance team, pep band and mascot for the mens and womens team. Here's the question. NCAA requests that the cheerleaders, pep band, mascot and dance teams go to the NCAA Tournament games. With both Jacks teams in, if there is only one squad of the above for both teams, what the heck are they going to do? Split the squads, get more pep band and put Jack on a fast plane between sites. Bet they never thought of this before. Oh man now I got a headache, my nerves are still shot from tuesday and thinking of this I can't sleep. Whats TV going to do get on the fast plane with Jack to make it to all the games he's got to do. I know last year at Xavier when the women played there the Xavier men were playing somewhere else and the good mascot went with them. The lady Xavierians had some cheesey looking blue blob running around forget what they called it. We cannot have that happen.

If ESPN were in charge - we could use the Aztec from "the other SDSU" or now Charlie Coyote for the men. Unbelievable.

We could also find those "WIU students" that were at the Summit League championship last night. They will aparently work for peanuts, sandwiches and ramen noodles.

The pep band is adding more members and splitting them between the two sites. I don't know about the other groups. The NCAA covers all costs.

Correct. This is the big time. NCAA foots the bill (at least that is what I was told).

Already checked on that...they're booked solid for the next couple of months traveling around voting in various primaries.

Rent-a-student. I thought it was pretty clever of WIU.

Ramen would do it. We watched Skinner's empty one Hobo Day when the SA float tossed out a couple cases of Ramen to the crowd. It was truly a spectacle to watch.
