  • Thanks :)

My son arrived there on the 23rd, and from all reports, he is enjoying it. He posted on his twitter [or was it Facebook, I'm only one week into this empty nest thing, don't judge me!!] That everyone hes encountered up there was " So nice" to him. I cannot tell you how good it makes me feel knowing that he's in a place where people are friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

It passes, but it's tough. Brookings is a good place to take that next big step.

Your son is in good hands. And Brookings is a good town to be in, he'll be safe. I feel for you on the separation. I was lucky in that my son moved closer when he went to SDSU.

I am going to try to make all of the home games at least, finances permitting. But The main one we are definitely going to would be the Oct 8 game in Youngstown where there will be alot of Ohio Jackrabbitt fans and I will certainly be at the Sept 3rd game for sure.

I don't think you'd find anybody on this board who has ever had dealings with Coach Stig who would not say that if you were to turn your son over to any coach, he would be at the top of any list, anywhere. Boys that go in to his program come out men who are routinely loyal, humble and gracious after the experience.
            Forum Folks, fair statement?

We have a few former players on here. I would like to see their responses to this.
