"The purpose of life is not to be happy - but to matter, to be productive, to be useful, to have it make some difference that you have lived at all."
-Leo Rosten
Is the evil man in this movie of life really dead? Yes we have the body and DNA to prove it. The idealogy that this man lead is not dead and that gives me concern and caution. I do not plan on flying anytime soon.
The sky will be full of planes today, because as long as we have men like the ones who took the life of that mad man Bin Laden , we should feel comfortable in knowing that justice does ultimately prevail. The souls of 9-11 have been uplifted by the death of this mad tyrant.

I don't understand your concern about flying. If you choose to be fearful at all, I would be more concerned about a "dirty bomb" or some type of biological attack. I don't fear for my own life, in relation to terrorist activities, but maybe I am too stupid to understand the threat. I will continue my life as I planned, just with a bigger smile than normal today, because that bastard is dead.
Buried at Sea. Here's to the TONS of people working behind the scenes that will never get any credit for this. Big day for the USA.
Personally, I think that's a mistake.
I'd have had him stuffed and mounted on top of the new building going up on the World Trade Center site, as a warning to the next ten generations that you really, really, really don't want to fu%& with Americans.

Doing that would make the personality bigger than the movement that is not about to die anytime soon. I think we have to be on guard in months and years to come. There are some who will do anything to fu%& with Americans and life is so much cheaper in other parts of the world and in these parts where life is cheap, you can alway appear to be a martyr by fu%&ing with Americans. Thats the problem as I see it.
And if I might answer 2002 Jacks question about the fear of flying, I do fear the remote possiblilty of TSA screwing up after all they are suppose to do and one of these misguided morons gets on the plane with a bomb then its over for me and many others. I lived most of my life and pay my premuims to Thrivant Insurance monthly, but we got one life to live. I would rather not end it this way.

Really?
If the message "if you kill nearly three thousand Americans, and they go just a bit crazy about that, knock over a couple of countries, spend years hunting you down and finally find you and kill you, and then they dishonor your lifeless corpse in really objectionable ways" is the path to martyrdom, then the mass psychosis in certain corners of the world is way worse than either one of us is really prepared to contemplate, I think.
But yeah, the "dishonoring the lifeless corpse in really objectionable ways" is probably a bit much.

I do not want to get into a political debate, but our preception in some parts of the world leaves a lot to be desired. You and I did nothing to earn this preception but its out there. It's amazing how guys like Bin Laden can talk some dumb 15 year old into blowing himself up for the cause. I might be off the mark in these general comments, but they do give me concern and what happens in the future will be interesting.
