Jackrabbit Alum coaching for State FB Title

I know there have or are others this fall coaching football teams to potential state titles, but I thought I'd throw this one out there.

Mike Kesler ('91-95) is coaching Rochester (MN) Lourdes High School in the Prep Bowl this Saturday at noon. They are 13-0 on the season. For anyone interested, it can be watched for free at https://45.grandstadium.tv/LandingPages/mngshome.html (registration required). I belive Kes has coached his team to the state quarterfinals in 4 of the past 5 years, this being his first shot at a state title.

Any others out there having won or still in the hunt for a state title this fall?

Brian Hermanson, SF Washington, has now won back-to-back state titles in 11-AA.

Quick update for those that know Mike.

Kes lead his team to their first state title since 1979 with a 41-14 victory today.
