    Re: Bison stew

An interesting question was raised earlier in this discussion: How many paved parking lots at NDSU does it take to equal one unpaved lot at SDSU? A math or philosophy major from SDSU may want to correct me, but the correct answer appears to be two, as in a 2-to-1 ratio. That is based on the fact that the Jacks have won the Dakota Marker football trophy four times and Bison have won it twice.
    This space for lease.

      The BSA:

It's like the Dakota Dome, but smaller and less useful.

Up on Bisonvillve they seem really hung up on the CA Portapotties... Think we could make up a replica, a little smaller than the Dakota Marker, to award them for for their last-place finish in the Marker game the last three years?

Excellent idea. A model portapotty, with "Miss congeniality" written on it.

At least in Fargo I can go out to a restaurant that serves more than just burgers and fries, unlike Brookings, where your best restaurant is some bland burger place. And where the hell do all your students hang out on the weekends, Lowe's and Wal-Mart???

Whoa, the BSA is not shaped like a waste-water storage dome, and it has a track, racquetball courts, swimming pool, batting cage, basketball court, and wrestling room.

So actually, smaller, more useful, and not shaped like a waste-water storage dome...

Dakota Dome has a track, racquetball courts, a swimming pool, and a basketball court, as well as a football field.

                  Yeah. You know it's true.

                  Not too different inside either:

Just put in a bunch of rickety bleachers, view obstructing trusses, and the world's plainest basketball court and -bam- you're there.

Oh, and you are so right about the Dakota Dome looking like a water tank.

                      BSA= Basically S****y Arena

Kind of goes back to my post about the "Bison Bombs" and the sheep chasing. The BSA is just perfect for having the National Sheep Chasing Championship. The nice thing is that you can have that event and it still doean't smell any worse than it does normally.

Just for the record, I would rather watch a game at the BSA any day of the week than the World's Largest Septic Tank in Vermillion but it is still a dump!

It's best to make sure all of your shots are up to date before venturing into the BSA!

Keep them out of Scheels though. Wouldn't want Sticky Fingers Flowers teaching the rest of the fellas the proper shoplifting techniques.

THIS is funneeee. Presents a dilemma: Would it violate creed and muck up Karma to award any Bison faithful rep points in Bison Week?
