Reasons to wish a 1-10 season on the Bison

Anyone who saw Saturday's game knows it could have been 35-13 if we wanted to make it so. They got their clocks cleaned and some of their fans still won't concede the other team was better.

*This wasn't a poster named after a body of water, either. I predict he will be kicked off B-Ville for good by year's end.

Becareful what we wish for. NDSU was 0-10 in 1962. Ralph Ginn's former assistant Bob Danielson was the Bison head coach who got fired and replaced with a new bunch Mudra I believe was his name, and these changes were the birth of arrorgance that we know today over on Bisonville.

We've still got those D-II championships from the old days!

What makes this so on point is that all have actually been used with a straight face. All within the last couple of days.

Same thing Farley, Mahoney and Grace were saying after we whipped UNI. Let them keep believing what they want, we are just have to keep getting better and beat which ever team is lined up across from us. This week its a Youngstown team with a lot of tradition and respect for the game. A huge game on the road.

Bison are irrelevant.

Denial, of course, is the first stage of grief and loss. Accepting the reality of their Bison being worse than mediocre obviously will be a long and painful process for a few Bison fans. Poor, poor pitiful them.

This week its a Youngstown team with a lot of tradition and respect for the game. A huge game on the road.

Youngstown St. has won more National Championships than any other MVFC team. They have won 4 NC and they are the most decorated program in the MVFC. They are a proud program and they would like nothing more than to beat an up and coming SDSU team. This will not be an easy game. I know Stig will keep us focused, but road games in this conference are not easy.

1-0 this week, keep the focus. There are a lot of big games to still be played.
