i had a conversation on facebook with a usd student i know. he gave me links of some of the d days shirts. a couple of them were reference to brookings and sdsu. i told him i thought it was funny that usd students cared about sdsu when sdsu students could care less about usd. he said that the freshman and old people care but nobody else does.

If there ever was an indication of how paranoid folks at the U are, this is it.

Hopefuly it's just several students wanting to make a buck.

Can you imagine a participant in the Hobo Day parade, or an onlooker of the festivities, with a shirt that has any reference to any another school, except maybe our opponent for the day. Why!

Note that the FB ad directs buyers to the house of the sellers, which is painted "light blue"...the only sign of intelligence in Vermillion maybe?

I noticed that the sign that says Vermillion on it is green. I think this signifies what the populace of USD must be to have to worry about us on their homecoming when we don't play them, green with envy!

Drove through Verminville on the way to Yankton last Friday night and stopped at Burger King. That town looked like a ghost town as I passed through. The only highlight was trying to keep the trailer from falling off the road into the road construction holes.

Been that way all summer. If I didn't have to work over there sometimes, I certainly wouldn't go through the construction. Just another reason to not go there. You are correct, place looks deserted on weekends.

Why not a Hobo Day shirt like this:

Hobo Daze 2009 - You can't spell "Jealous of the more successful SDSU and woefully behind in athletic facilities" without "USD."

Kinda has a nice ring to it I thought..
