I'm not trying to say one is better than the other but what makes you think USD is better than SDSU?

Did I just say that USD was ahead of the Jacks?

Winning 1-0, now in the first intermission. Good job, Cooke! Assisted by Evgeni Malkin and the USS Hal Gill.

            Thanks for asking!

Well, if it's drift you want, it's drift you get.

              Update follows...

Matt Cooke starts the second period by scoring his second goal in less than 45 seconds of play.

              Assisted by Malkin and Whitney.

Brendan Morrison now feeling shame for getting caught cheating. Two minutes for slashing. Pens on power play.

Bobby Ryan tries to make a hit on the Gill. Against the boards, the Gill braces for impact. Ryan goes down like a little punk. Pansy. Gill goes to the penalty box - 2 minutes for roughing??? Anaheim gets a PP goal. Whatever.

2nd intermission. [linky] for those who care.

Pittsburgh's #20 Janne Pesonen is the one to watch today. He came over from Finland before this season with a lot of promise. Coach Therrien won't give him any quality ice time. With the insane number of injuries right now, he has no choice...

Staal passes back to the point off the faceoff and Hal Gill scorches the net! 3-1 Pens.

Re: Summit League vs NCC in Competitiveness

Pens are victorious walking away with a 3-1 score. There wasn't any lack of problems. Too many key injuries going into the game. It's roughing if the Hal Gill just stands there when some wuss tries to hit him. Good defensement commit too many other penalties in the 3rd period, making the Pens tightly hold onto a 1-goal lead. Ducks keeping the intensity up. Malkin getting ridden like a rented mule in the corners. Afterwards, Bob Errey said it best. "This is awesome - the way the team just came together in the face of adversity..." Good job!

Now extend that winning streak beyond just one game this time...

My first choice is always this [linky]

Along with the gobison access, it serves almost every need I have. The only team missing off my list then is ViF soccer - for some reason, it's almost impossible to find a feed coming out of Norway.

And we're done talking about USD. Now. Done.

Until we play them or they get into the Summit, who cares?

I'm not neccessarily knocking on USD as much as I am just sick of talking about them.
