Yes, we deserve that. But Morningside is a pretty good team. OK, they're just decent. OK, they're NAIA. They're a good NAIA team. Whatever. We won. Baby steps.

You may be right that Tubby might not be looking for footage of last night's game, but one thing is for sure, the only UNO he has ever heard of is  .  .  .




As a side bar,  classes started again on Oct. 10th for the Privateers, so UNO is back up and running.

One BIG point - you beat KY in women's bb not MEN'S bb.  Big difference.  It would be like uno congratulating ourselves for beating Notre Dame in hockey which we have done.  THey are a big name in fb not hockey. Same with KY girls.  No big deal.
Now Davis in fb is a big deal and Southern last season is a big deal. But NOT Ky women.

But we beat Morningside. Baby steps. I think you'll see this is a much more talented team. Nagy's still a very good coach. Last year we saw what happens the year after a bunch of sixth-year seniors depart. Now we can start building something up again. I think we'll give some people a good game, and we'll win some we're not supposed to win. If we can win the ones we're supposed to win, it'll be a decent year, with everybody back next year.

I noticed KY women finished tied for 9th with Alabama in the SEC last year - both with a 4-10 record.

There are something like 300+ DI women's teams and only about 50 are any good.

Just because they have a big name ...

Yes, and the USD football team that lost by 13 to Minnesota Duluth last week could easily beat the SDSU football team that lost by 13 to Georgia Southern because anybody who knows anything about football knows that UMD is a national powerhouse in DII and could easily move up to 1AA and beat GSU because there's no difference at all between Division II and Division I-AA... blah... blah... blah... No DII team matters in DI. The worst DI team can win a DI championship. DII teams cannot compete at the DI level. This is not a difficult concept. Be indifferent but don't be belligerent. Its another aspect of your personality that reflects poorly on you.
