MavD2, Outstanding post. How do you argue with 1881 fans. Not possible so you change the subject.
Maybe their fans were hunting skunks or out at some dog fight that afternoon. Don't know what else there is to do up there. I wonder if their administration expected those kind of numbers. I tend to doubt it.
I enjoyed Tom Shatel's Omaha World Herald column on the Huskers weak non conference men's bb schedule. Talks about treating the non conf patsies like scrimmages which is what they will turn out to be. I wonder if the Huskers will even be in their game uniforms for the Jacks or just wear their practice jerseys.

Fat Jake, lets get original when your talking smack.  Dont lay on Mavs belly.

What about the mighty Husker women who beat Baylor last year and just got crushed by the Rabbit women.  From what I see the Husker women went farther than the men last year.  By the way they have the same line-up this year and a true frosh is the only player that made a statement.

Couldnt do any husking that night because the Rabbits ran past them so much it burned the kernals right off of the cob.  

Your a L7 dude...I think you already saw that our young mens team will compete very nicely with the Husker men.  If not its to bad because their games against Kentucky and Illinois were on national television along with full houses at each venue.  I'll give you credit though, your mighty Mavs scrimmage against the Huskers made it on Nebraska Public Broadcasting.

Almost forgot, I made some Mavrick stew this evening. Little sh*# was out wondering by himself on HWY 81 and I smacked him with my Ford. The old farmer was nice about it though, told me to keep him because he was such a loner and none of the other bovine liked to play with him.

Had a little keylime pie afterwards, took the nasty taste out of my mouth. Thank Heavens for that keylime pie!

Bottom line 21,523 more people watched Jackrabbit football then watched UNO football during the 2005 football season.  

I thought that pretty much put it to rest.
