Prevent Defense

I have to give Cal-Poly credit for their prevent defense; it prevented them from winning tonight.

Perhaps Madden can give his alma mater's team some tips next time he's in Cali. (edit)

I hate the prevent defense, but I really hate the running the clock down offense. I don't know if that happened against you guys today, but watching D1 college and pro, I've seen it back fire many times. See the Arizona-da Bears game or the Notre Dame-UCLA game today. I've seen it fail so many times. And I can't stand it when they do it in the 3rd quarter. Unless there is only a few minutes left in the game, go for the first down or endzone.
