A lot of whining is coming out of Minnesota since 4:15 p.m. yesterday. Refs made the call (basket good) at the end of the game. After carefully studying the replays and consulting the rule book they did not see conclusive evidence to overturn their original call. Game over SDSU wins!!!!!!
Some, in Minnesota, still don't like the outcome but the review process was used to uphold the original call.
Solution:
I am proposing that the refs go back and look at all the calls made during the game and adjust the score as they see fit. Only then can a truly accurate outcome be determined. They could adjust fouls not called by allowing points based on the teams final free throw percentage and take away points gained by free throws allowed where no real foul happened.
My quick review of the video of the game using that method places the score at:
