  • Coyotes Can't Catch Jackrabbits; Go For Household Pets Instead

I thought this articles deserved a new headline following their unsuccessful attempt to defeat the Jacks.

Coyote attempts to take second dog in Sioux Falls

    Of note:
"Animal Control also recommends using "hazing" techniques to scare off coyotes, such as yelling, waving your arms, making loud noises like banging pots and pans, spraying the coyote with water and vinegar or throwing rocks or sticks."

Better get my super soaker loaded up with vinegar, just in case!

I recommend a bow if you’re in town. Solve everyone’s problem.

It looks like SlapJack has his answer. They prefer pets to ice cream 🤣

Here are some things that people can yell to scare a male coyote out of their neighborhood:
"The college dean wants you to call!"
"The paternity test results are in!"
"A little kid is here to collect the $100 he loaned you."
          This space for lease.

Does this mean that the Yotes are in the camp of those that feel that Augie should join the MVFC so they can be competitive with at least one South Dakota football team?

              "Let's go play football."

              Works everytime.

Maybe this helps explain why the Yotes usually shih tzu their pants when they meet up with the Jacks.
