      It's too bad UND recently dropped baseball. We need the Fighting Birds in the Summit, especially, and also in the Mo Valley. The Summit (for multiple sports) and Mo Valley (for football) need more teams, not fewer. Suggesting that members of either conference leave because, at the moment, they are too good or not good enough, is silly.

        Yeah, it was supposed to happen in either 2010-11 or 2011-12. Always wondered if part of the reason UMKC left for the WAC was because they couldn't hold up a (secret?) baseball deal they made with the Summit. Probably not, but the timing was suggestive.
