So what's the deal with USD's countdown clock? After the Jacks win on Saturday, will the Coyotes reset their clock to count down to next year's regular season game? Maybe the Jacks should get a countdown clock, too. Except the SDSU clock should count down to the start of the playoffs.

Common misconception about the countdown clock.

It isn't a countdown to kickoff of the SDSU game.

Its a countdown to doomsday for the USD football program.
