1) pork producers, an important industry in South Dakota, contributing to the SDSU athletic department; and
2) Bison football players contributing to,...wait a minute, are you suggesting the BestBuy and political-petition capers were fund raisers for NDSU athletics?

The Bison have some enviable crowd-esitmating skills, too. Like the time they brought 10,000 people (mostly dressed in blue and yellow SDSU gear, apparently) to Coughlin Alumni. And didn't they bring 100,000 to Texas for the NCAA championship? Maybe it was a million.
