Glenn was elevated to head coach at Northern Colorado in 1989, thus igniting a 14-year string of success that few have matched. Glenn captained 14 consecutive winning seasons - 11 with Northern Colorado followed by three more at Montana. His teams reached the playoffs 10 times and brought home three national titles.
Glenn won 11 or more games in each of his final four seasons at Northern Colorado and in all three seasons with the Griz. His record during those seven years was 86-14. He won back-to-back national championships with the Bears in 1996 and 1997, reached the quarterfinals in 1998 and 1999, advanced to the FCS title game with Montana in 2000 and won it all in 2001.
Glenn won three consecutive North Central Conference titles in 1997, 1998 and 1999. He won Big Sky Championships in 2000, 2001 and 2002. His win percentage in three years at Montana (.867, 39-6), which included 24 consecutive wins starting in 2001 and running into 2002, remains the best in the history of the Big Sky Conference.

Who cares about Joe Glenn? He'll be one of the next to go. Maybe in retirement he can go assist Bohl at Wyoming as a volunteer coach and repair his reputation there as a FBS loser.

Glenn was politely fired after six seasons at Wyoming. From the Cowboys website:
Glenn's overall record as coach of the Cowboys is 30-41 (.423), and his record against Mountain West Conference opponents stands at 15-31 (.326).

If Bohl takes most of his staff with him as rumored, maybe NDSU could consider giving Nick Mertens a call to come in as the offensive coordinator or quaterbacks coach?

Heck, where'd he go after he left Ndsu early? Maybe he's still got some eligibility left and can replace Jensen.
