For as inept USD is according to many on this board. For as irrelevant as USD is according to many on this board. For as bad as the fan following is for USD being noticed on this board. For as poorly run as USD is according to many on this board, and for as much as SDSU fans want to make USD into a follower or inferior I find something rather surprising.

It's amazing how much USD gets smacked on this board. If all the things above were as true as you would like to make them out to be there would be no reason to bring attention to USD on this board. So if USD is not a true player in this region there would be no need to bring mention to them as often as Jacks fans do. It's really to the point of obsession to many Jacks fans that can't seem to get USD out of their mind.

The thing is it's not going to get any better but only worse for the State College as the University aims to return to the top of the Summit League and MVFC for superiority in the State of South Dakota.

Let the smack threads continue as they only further show that thee University is coming on strong.

I only smack because of you. You dont show up for months until the win in the dome. Im sure once you lose up in Brookings we wont see you until the next Coyote win against SDSU. And that could be a long long time

Take a look at the last ten threads started in the smack section, three are about NDSU and seven are about USD. Of the seven USD smack threads, one was an inquiry about a technical matter and devolved into some haiku which scattered in many directions. Three of the threads addressing USD were started by SDSU fans. The remaining three threads smacking USD WERE STARTED BY COYOTEFAN. Add that to those facts the following: 1) Coyotefan has been more critical of USD -- in a serious manner -- on SDSUFans.com than any SDSU fan on SDSUFans.com; and 2) Coyotefan has been so critical of USD on Goyotes.net, the recognized USD fan message board, that he has been banned.

If there's going to be smack, then we prefer it to have a little humor.
