This is pure merchandising genius! They've been trying to pawn off that worthless crap for years, and finally have some SDSU fan-newbies that might be easily duped. Real SDSU fans would be sure to buy from SA bookstore.
The sites that sell gear have the same generic hoodie, for example, and their computer adds the color and the logo or name. I suspect there is little or no actual inventory sitting around...as orders come in, the item is made and shipped. Some defective human plugged in the wrong school initials for SDSU. Happens all the time and to lots of schools. I wonder if IUPUI may be immune because the defective human has to press one additional key on his keyboard and that may make him think.
I was cruising ebay last night and came across a listing for "SDSU flag" -- you guessed it: it was a USD flag with a coyote on it. I sent the 'seller' (I think it's one of the big ebay "stores") a message and politely pointed out the error. I received a return message a couple of hours later with an apology, an explanation (wrong picture for the item) and a promise for correction.
My son in Houston tells me that he is that guy in his office bracket contest. I told him if he wins, he won't be tied with anyone.
