    Re: The last time...

    The starters for SDSU were:

    Ben Beran
    Michael Loney
    Eric Heien
    Andy Kleinjan
    Matt Cadwell

    The starters for NDSU were:

    Brett Winkelman
    Andre Smith
    Lucas Moormann
    Ben Woodside
    Mike Nelson

    According to the play-by-play:

Ben Beran fouled out with just under six minutes left in the game, the score was 60-57 at the time. Loney fouled out with just over 3 minutes left in the game, the score was 64-62 at the time. Matt Cadwell led all scorers with 16 points. Brett Winkelman missed a 3 to win the game with 4 seconds to go, and Chris Wagner got the rebound to secure the 67-65 win.

    Its like some alternate reality.

For being a low point in the program, it sure hasn't improved against NDSU, at least we are having better years overall, just not head to head. NDSU bragging about beating us yet finishing below us sounds like something USD fans would cheer about. NDSU fans should be wondering what happens in the games they don't play SDSU in.

That got me thinking, to bad Wagner doesn't have any eligbility left, we could use his size.

As an "embarrassed" Jackrabbit fan I have nothing to say when it comes to a NDSU/SDSU men's basketball game.

Completely unacceptable and I'm just hoping I'm over it come Sunday night and hopefully the team is too.
At this point I'm still so pissed off that I would join anyone in booing our team off the court in SF if they laid an egg to IPFW...I sincerely hope my attitude changes over the next 5 days.

We've been TERRIBLE the last two seasons. No one is Bison land is happy with how the last two regular seasons have turned out, but it takes away some of the sting of cheering for an underperforming team when we continue to dominate our rivals to the south.

I'm sure SDSU fans wouldn't cheer if their team won a game against NDSU if the bunnies finished behind the Bison in the standings

I think most would be more disapointed in the standings. Beating a rival is nice but finishing and winning the confrence is better. remember that time you guys did? Wasnt that better then just beating SDSU? I would like to think most have our sites set higher then beating a rival.

It's the curse of Michaet Tviedt. Now that he is gone all will be right with the world and the Jacks will return to dominating the bizun on the hardwood.

Oh yeah, before that it was the curse of Ben Woodside and the 4 dwarfs. We also need a border check to keep lakesb and his buddies from polluting our SD air.

With the talent we have coming back and the new recruits I think will be great additions, NDSU will suffer from the Zach attack for the next 4 years and get us back to being the best Dakota school again.

At this point, I'd settle for one stinking win.

yeah, I agree, I hope it comes at home first so the fans can celebrate the win too.

The arena would be an acceptable substitute!

Yeah, but not like NDSU can make it that far, but if they did get that far and if we lost another one that would be the hardest and worst loss of all double digit losses of them IMO.

The best Dakota school that STATE is the third word.

(and before you beat me up, go to Bisonville and look where I predicted SDSU to win)

I don't know if this is true or not but isn't the 1st game against them next year on the road? If our schedule rotates, it should be. That means I'll take a road win. I would settle for "1 stinking win", too.

As far as "the best Dakota school that STATE is the third word", that means the best all around, too.

fairpoint, i forgot about the rotating schedule. But overall a win is a win is a win anyway you slice it so when ever that happens is fine with me.
